The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 31 of 2025, for the offences registered under Section 96 of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Gumla. Petitioner is alleged to have enticed away 17 years old daughter of the informant to leave her lawful guardianship with intention to marry her. From the impugned order, it appears that the statement of the victim was recorded in which she has stated that she has left her lawful guardianship according to her own wish. This appears to be a case of adolescent love affair between the parties. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Gumla, in connection with Gumla P.S.
