Judgment / Order 07/07/2025 On last date, i.e., 01.07.2025, following order was passed:-
[2025:RJ-JP:24817] (2 of 2) [CW-2781/2020]
“The matter comes up for payment of due salary to the petitioners.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that since, services of the petitioners were engaged through a placement agency with no privity of contract with the official respondents, this writ petition is not maintainable. He, therefore, prays that the writ petition be dismissed. None for the petitioners to oppose the prayer. However, in the interest of justice, the petitioners are granted one more opportunity to do so. List the matter on 07.07.2025 at top of the list as prayed.” Today also, learned counsel for the petitioners is not in a position to dispute that their services were hired through a placement agency with no privity of contract with the State Government. Therefore, in the aforesaid factual backdrop and the precedential law laid down by this Court in the case of Ram Khilari & Ors. versus State of Rajasthan & Ors.: S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.14835/2021 decided on 23.05.2025, the petitioners are not entitled for the relief claimed in the writ petition. The civil writ petition is dismissed accordingly. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
