The record of the proceedings reveals, however, that on the next date of hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. On the previous date of hearing as well, arguing counsel for the petitioner did not choose to appear and instead a proxy counsel appeared on his behalf, as a consequence whereof, the matter was adjourned, however, subject to the payment of costs of Rs. 1000/- payable by the counsel for the petitioner and deposited before the Registry of this Court.
