The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant Anurag Gill with the prayer to quash the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 3912/2020 (State vs. Anurag and another) arising out of Crime No. 491/2019, under sections 498-A, 323 IPC and 3/4 of D.P. Act, Police Station Gajraula, District Amroha, pending before C.J.M., District Amroha as well as to quash the impugned charge sheet dated 17.07.2020 and cognizance order dated 26.08.2020 passed by C.J.M., Amroha and with the further prayer to stay the further proceedings of aforesaid case, during the pendency of present application. 4. The applicant is the husband of the opposite party no.2. The dispute between the parties is matrimonial in nature. The matter was referred to the Mediation Centre of this Court vide order dated 10.04.2024 for making an effort between the parties for settling their disputes amicably in the leading petition filed by the husband of the opposite party no.2 being Application U/S 482 No.1386 of 2024. As per report of Mediation Centre dated 25.8.2024 in the said petition, the parties have amicably settled their dispute Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Amar Jeet Singh, Bhuvnesh Kumar Singh Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : G.A., Sadaful Islam Jafri Anurag Gill .....Applicant(s) State of U.P. and Another .....Opposite Party(s) and further agreed to withdraw the cases going on between them. 5. Since the leading petition being Application U/S 482 No.1386 of 2024 (Anurag Singh Vs. State of U.P. and another) has been allowed by this Court by an order of even date passed in the said matter, the present application u/s 482 Cr.P.C. is also allowed. 6. The entire proceedings of the aforesaid case, Charge Sheet as well as cognizance order passed in the aforesaid case are hereby quashed.
