NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “Issue a writ of mandamus/order/direction directing the respondents to release the arrears of - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:27980 WP No. 8227 of 2025 salary payable to the petitioner forthwith and to pay salary in future as per the order dated 30.11.2018 at Annexure-B, by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 01.03.2023 at Annexure-A by quashing that portion of the order bearing No. Pa.PuShi/Sibbandi-3/MM-072/ Sahayanudana / 2018-19 dated 13.07.2021 passed by respondent No.2 at Annexure-C whereby petitioner’s case for release of grant-in-aid salary is excluded.” 2. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as a History Professor in the fourth respondent College in the year 1996. The post was admitted to the grant-in-aid, by order dated 30.11.2018 along with other employees. Except the petitioner, in respect of the other employees, salary grant has been released. In respect of the petitioner, since a criminal case was pending against him, the salary has not been released. Therefore, petitioner submitted a representation dated 01.09.2023 vide Annexure-A to respondent No.3. So far, no decision has been taken on the representation submitted by the petitioner. The learned AGA for the State submits that, if this Court grants some reasonable time, the representation will be considered in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition stands disposed of, directing respondent No.3 to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner vide Annexure- A dated 01.09.2023, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
