ORAL ORDER
Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3.
2. Petitioner has sought for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent - Assistant Commissioner to number his appeal and to consider his request for interim relief that is sought for.
3. Petitioner submits that though the appeal was filed on 14.06.2025, the Assistant Commissioner till date has neither numbered the appeal nor taken up the appeal for consideration. It is further submitted that there is urgency to consider the interim relief sought for in the said appeal.
4. Taking note of the narrow scope of the present proceedings and the limited relief sought for, it would be appropriate to dispose of the petition in the following terms.
