NO. 5395 OF 2025 3 P.V.KUNHIKRISHNAN, J. -------------------------------- B.A. No.5395 of 2025 ---------------------------------------------- Dated this the 11th day of April, 2025 ORDER The petitioners are apprehending arrest from respondents 1 and 2 in a crime registered at Krishnagiri Police Station. I am of the considered opinion that this Court has no jurisdiction to grant bail to the petitioners under Section 482 of BNSS because the case is registered at Krishnagiri Police Station at Tamil Nadu. At this stage, the counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are ready to appear before the jurisdictional court and in the meanwhile, there is apprehension of arrest within the State of Kerala. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there can be direction to the Police Authorities not to arrest the petitioners for a period of three weeks within the State of Kerala. In the meanwhile the petitioners can approach the jurisdictional court with appropriate application. 2025:KER:31810 BAIL APPL. NO. 5395 OF 2025 4 Therefore, this bail application is disposed of directing the Police Authorities not to arrest the petitioners for a period of three weeks within the jurisdiction of this Court. In the meanwhile the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional court and free to file appropriate application in accordance with law.
