The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Seraikella P.S. Case No. 150/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 316(3), 318(4), 338, 336(3) & 340(2) of the B.N.S. 2023, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Seraikella. 3. The petitioner happens to be driver of a truck bearing registration no. CG08AX-9045 on which the informant was transporting rice. It is alleged that while on the way, the petitioner stopped receiving call on his mobile phone due to which the informant suspected that the petitioner has decamped away with his rice. 4. It was submitted that the mobile phone of the petitioner started malfunctioning on the way due to which he could not answer the call of the informant on his mobile phone. It was further submitted that the police had seized the vehicle with the rice and the same has been released to the informant. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Seraikella in connection with Seraikella P.S.
