He was suspended by Chief Proctor of the University because of his alleged involvement in an incident of firing between rival groups of students in front of University campus. Thus feeling aggrieved by his suspension, petitioner filed this petition on 18.05.2023. 3. Coordinate Bench vide order dated 19.05.2023, called upon the petitioner to produce Rules/Regulation/Bylaws/Guidelines, governing the field, however, relevant documents have not been produced so far. 4. The FIR was registered in respect of the incident which led to petitioner’s suspension. In that, petitioner is named as an accused. Petitioner was enlarged on bail by First Additional Sessions Judge, Roorkee, Haridwar vide order dated 16.12.2022. Thus, the decision taken by the University to suspend the petitioner till further orders cannot be faulted, as every educational institution has to maintain discipline and order in its campus. 5. Thus there is no scope for interference in the 2025:UHC:8837 matter. Writ petition fails and is dismissed. 6. Pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of.
