Heard Mr. A.K. Hajong, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. K. Gogoi, learned CGC; Mr. G. Sarma, learned standing counsel for the FT matters and NRC; Ms. P. Baruah, learned standing counsel for the ECI; and Mr. P. Sarmah, learned Addl. Senior Govt. advocate.
2. This interlocutory application has been filed for correction of typographical error which has crept in the order dated 22.01.2025 passed by this Court in WP(C) 6832/2024.
3. It is submitted that the respondent no. 6 is the Superintendent of Police (B), Barpeta. However, inadvertently in paragraph 7, 8 and 9, the said authority has been referred to as Superintendent of Police (B), Bajali.
4. As the prayer was not objected to, it is allowed. Hence, reference to Superintendent of Police (B), Bajali appearing in paragraph 7, 8 and 9 of the said order dated 22.01.2025 shall now be read as Superintendent of Police (B), Barpeta.
5. The time for the applicant to appear before the Superintendent of Police (B), Barpeta stands extended for 12(twelve) days from the date of this
order. In the event the applicant who is the petitioner in the WP(C) 6832/2024 appears before the Superintendent of Police (B), Barpeta, the said authority
Page No.# 3/3 shall do the needful in terms of order dated 22.01.2025 passed in WP(C) 6832/2024.
6. This interlocutory application stands disposed of.
