JUSTICE NAWNEET KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 11 09-10-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned APP for the State. 2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 597 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8, 20, 22 of NDPS Act. 3. As per allegation, the petitioner and co-accused persons cultivated ganja (Cannabis sativa) crop. The police raided the field and destroyed the crops. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. He was not apprehended at the spot. 5. The petitioner was found to be involved in cultivation of ganja on large scale. He has criminal history of Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64405 of 2024(11) dt.09-10-2025 2/2 similar nature of cases. 6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, in my view, the petitioner doesn’t deserve the privileges for anticipatory bail.
