The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of B.N.S.S with a prayer to grant anticipatory bail to her in case FIR No.197, dated 18.02.2020, under Sections 34, 406, 420, 506 of IPC and 10 of Immigration Act (later deleted), registered at Police Station Thanesar City, District Kurukshetra. 2. While granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail on 26.06.2025, a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court had noticed the following contentions raised by learned counsel for the petitioner:- “Counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is the wife of Beant Singh, who is the main accused and has been released on regular bail by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kurukshetra, vide order dated 14.10.2022. She has also placed reliance upon order dated 04.06.2025, Annexure P-4, whereby her mother-in-law has been granted interim protection.” HEMLATA 2025.08.20 00:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-33384-2025 -2- 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has reiterated the submissions and further submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation and her custodial interrogation may not be required. 4. On the other hand, learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Deepak, also submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for further investigation. 5. In view of the above statement made by learned counsel for the parties, the interim order dated 26.06.2025 passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join the investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 482 (2) of B.N.S.S. 6. Pending application(s) stand(s) also disposed of.
