The petitioner- Sheikh Firoz Ansari @ Baghela @ Firoz @ Firoz Ansari @ Firoz Ansari @ Bhagela is in custody since 18.12.2022 in connection with Sessions Trial No.536 of 2023 arising out of Sadar P.S. Case No. 566 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. No.585 of 2023 for the offence registered under Sections 394, 307, 457, 411, 34 of the I.P.C. and Sections 25(1-B) A, 26, 35 of the Arms Act pending in the Court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioiner-VIII, Ranchi. Earlier bail application of this petitioner was rejected vide order dated 02.08.2024 with a direction to expedite the trial and concluded it preferable within six months from the date of order. It is submitted that more than six months have elapsed, but till date out of four witnesses, only three have been examined and for the last four dates, the case is pending for the evidence of I.O. (P.W. 4). Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the stage of trial, I am not inclined to interfere with the earlier order. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, is hereby, rejected. (Gautam Kumar Choudhary, J.) Anit
