CRM-30115-2025 This is an application under Section 528 of BNSS for amendment of head note as well as prayer clause of the main petition as offence under Section 201 of IPC was added subsequently vide DDR No.10 dated 13.07.2025.
Learned counsel for the applicant-appellant submits that offence under Section 201 of IPC was added subsequently after filing of the main petition. Thus, she prays for addition of the said offence in the head note as well as prayer clause of the main petition. Notice in the application. Ms. Simran Goria, AAG, Punjab appears and accepts notice on behalf of the State. In view of the averments made therein, same is allowed. Offence under Section 201 of IPC is ordered to be added in the headnote as well as the prayer of the main petition. Petitioner is ordered to be considered on bail in the PARVEEN KUMAR 2025.08.08 17:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRM-M-33230-2025 (O&M) -2- newly added Section in terms of the order dated 25.06.2025. Registry is directed to do the needful. CRM-30643-2025 Application under Section 528 of BNSS has been filed for placing on record documents as Annexure R-1 to R-5, which is taken on record subject to all just exceptions. Registry is directed to tag the same at an appropriate place. Main case Prayer in the present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.104 dated 08.06.2024 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 407 of IPC, 1860 (Section 201 of IPC was added later on) registered at Police Station City-1, Sangrur, District Sangrur. Vide order dated 25.06.2025, while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in pursuance to the order passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute. Learned State counsel, on instructions has stated that petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no more required for further investigation. In view of the above, interim order dated 25.06.2025 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023. Petition stands allowed.
