Heard the learned counsel Mr. P. Kataki appearing for the applicants as well as Mr. K. Baishya, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application u/s 430 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for suspension of sentence dated 19.12.2024 imposed upon the applicants by the learned Sessions Judge, Nalbari in Sessions Case No. 168/2019 as well as for releasing them on bail. 3. The applicants were convicted by the learned Sessions Judge, Nalbari in Sessions Case No. 168/2019. They are still in custody. Therefore, they have prayed for releasing them on bail. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. I have also gone through the impugned judgment. 5. It is hereby directed that the sentence dated 19.12.2024 imposed upon the applicants by the learned Sessions Judge, Nalbari in Sessions Case No. 168/2019 shall remain stayed till disposal of the connected appeal. 6.
