On 16.10.2020, award under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, was passed. The petitioners’ only grievance remains that till date they have not received the compensation amount. 2. Learned AGP submits that demand is raised with the Government and after the amount is received from the Government the compensation will be paid to the petitioners. 3. Considering the fact that the award is declared in the year 2020, we direct the respondents to pay the compensation to the petitioners within eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 4.
