Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents. 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the husband of the petitioner has died in Covid-19 and she is entitled to ex-gratia compensation of Rs.30 lacs as per the Government Order dated 01.06.2021 treating the death of the husband of the petitioner as death on account of Covid-19 occurred during the course of the election duty. 3. A supplementary affidavit has been filed in which it has been stated that the petitioner has submitted online application on 14.06.2021 and she has also submitted offline application on 14.06.2021, copy of which is enclosed with the supplementary affidavit. 4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the application dated 14.06.2021 of the petitioner is not being considered by the respondent No.1-Additional Chief Secretary (Panchayati Raj), Government of U.P., Lucknow. 5. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and appropriate direction may be issued to the respondent No.1 to consider the grievance of the petitioner 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without adverting into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed off with the direction to the respondent No.1-Additional Chief Secretary (Panchayati Raj), Government of U.P., Lucknow to consider and decide the application dated Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Man Bahadur Singh, Shivendra Pratap Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : Bipin Bihari Pandey, C.S.C.
