JUSTICE B.M.SHYAM PRASAD) The complainants are an Educational Institution and its Principal, and they have filed this complaint alleging that there is deliberate disobedience by the respondents because no action is taken despite orders of the writ Court in W.P. No.102818/2024 to consider the complainants’ representation for renewal of recognition for three courses in Mechanical Engineering, Information Science Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering. Sri. Anoop Deshpande, the learned counsel for the AICTE, has placed on record a copy of the communication informing the second complainant [the Principal] that recognition has been restored for these three courses and the complainants’ must apply online. Sri. V. Lakshminarayana, the learned senior counsel for the complainant, submits that previously the recognition in each of these courses was for 35 seats but presently recognition for the course in Information Science Engineering is only for - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:3231-DB CCC No. 100277 of 2024 30 seats and this Court may have to take note of the same for just orders in the present proceedings. It would suffice for this Court to observe that this aspect is not adjudicated in the writ petition and if the complainants have any grievance with recognition being limited to certain number of seats in one of the courses, the complainants must be at liberty to file a representation which must receive due consideration.
