This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the the respondent no. 2, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil-Meja, District Prayagraj to decide the Case No.: 122/125/130/185/244 of 2010- 2011-2012-2013, 2014, (Sukhraj and another Versus Chhote Lal and others), under Section 229-B of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that Case No.: 122/125/130/185/244 of 2010-2011-2012-2013, 2014, (Sukhraj and another Versus Chhote Lal and others), under Section 229-B of U.P.Zamindari Abolition & Land Reforms Act is pending consideration before respondent no. 2. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent No.2 to decide Case No.: 122/125/130/185/244 of 2010-2011-2012-2013, 2014, (Sukhraj and another Versus Chhote Lal and others), under Section 229-B of U.P.Zamindari Abolition & Land Reforms Act, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
