IN THE HIGH COURT OF HIMACHAL PRADESH, SHIMLA Cr.MP(M) No. 294 of 2025 Decided on 11.03.2025 Kulbhushan ....Petitioner Versus State of H.P. ....Respondent Coram Hon’ble Mr Justice Rakesh Kainthla, Judge. Whether approved for reporting? No. For the petitioner : Mr. Virbahadur Verma, Advocate. For the respondent/State : Mr. Tarun Pathak, Deputy Advocate General. Rakesh Kainthla, Judge (Oral) Status report has been filed and the same is taken on record. 2. Learned Deputy Advocate General submits that despite the order dated 18.02.2025, passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court; the petitioner has not joined the investigation. 3. Perusal of the status report shows that ten F.I.Rs. have also been registered against the petitioner. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to illness of the petitioner, he could not join the investigation, 2 however, there is no proof of this fact. Keeping in view the fact that the offence committed by the petitioner is an economic offence, which cannot be equated with the normal offence and the fact that despite directions passed on 18.02.2025, petitioner has not joined the investigation, it is not a fit case where concession of pre-arrest bail can be granted to the petitioner, hence, the present petition is dismissed. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. (Rakesh Kainthla) Judge 11th March, 2025 (ravinder)
