JUSTICE D K SINGH) The present writ petition is filed seeking following prayers: a) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the respondent no.1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 19.01.2022, 01.03.2022 and 06.05.2022 issued by the 1st Petitioner requesting for extension of last date for admission and provide for clarification for filling up of unfilled/vacant seats in Super Specialty Courses (DM/Mch) after completion of Second round conducted

HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:34826-DB WP No. 9568 of 2022 by MCC/DGHS for the year 2021-2022 (Annexure A, B, B1 and C); b) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other declaring the action of the respondents not considering the representation dated 19.01.2022, 01.03.2022 and 06.05.2022 issued by the 1st Petitioner requesting for extension of last date for admission and provide for methodology for filling up of unfilled/vacant seat in Super Specialty Courses(DM/Mch) after completion of Second round conducted by MCC/DGHS for the year 2021-2022 is highly arbitrary and illegal (Annexure A, B, B1 and C); c) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the respondent no.1 and 2 to provide clarity for filling up of unfilled/vacant seats in Super Specialty Courses (DM/Mch) after completion of Second round conducted by MCC/DGHS for the year 2021-2022; d) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the respondent no. 1 and 2 to permit the members of petitioner association to themselves conduct the stray vacancy round and allot seats in Super Specialty Courses by permitting all the qualified candidates who are eligible to apply for the super specialty course (DM/Mch), irrespective whether they appeared for NEET-SS for the year 2021-2022; e) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or
order directing the

order directing the respondents to reduce the percentile required for admission to super specialty courses for filling up of unfilled/vacant seats in Super Specialty Courses for the year 2021-2022; g) To pass any such order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the above case in the interest of justice".
2. In sum and substance, the petitioner has sought a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to reduce the percentile required for admission to super specialty courses for filling up of unfilled/vacant seats in super specialty courses for the year 2021-22.
3. We are in the year 2025. Therefore, the writ petition so far as reducing percentile required for admission to super specialty courses for filling up unfilled/vacant seats does not survive. By the efflux of time the writ petition has been rendered infructuous and
