Mr. S.K. Mandal and Mr. Sohan Singh Mehta, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. N.S. Pundir, learned Deputy Advocate General for the State. 3. Petitioner is seeking his transfer to a suitable place, due to his disability, which he is suffering up to 40%. Earlier he preferred a writ petition before this Court i.e. WPSS No.1048 of 2023 whereby the Coordinate Bench of this Court on 02.05.2024 directed to the Additional Director, Secondary Education to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 04.01.2024. Thereafter, in compliance to the directions issued by the Coordinate Bench of this Court dated 02.05.2024, the Additional Director, Secondary Education decided the representation on 21.06.2024 and observed that petitioner may submit his option for new place in the Academic Session of 2024-25. 4. In compliance to the order passed by the Additional Director, Secondary Education dated 21.06.2024 petitioner submitted the option, copy of which is enclosed as Annexure 9 to the writ petition, which was strongly recommended by the Head of the Department/Principal of the Institution. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the option given by 2025:UHC:217 the petitioner in compliance to the order passed by the Additional Director Secondary Education, no decision has been taken so far. 6. Mr. N.S. Pundir, learned Deputy Advocate General has not disputed this fact that the Additional Director, Secondary Education has already passed an order giving liberty to the petitioner to give option for his transfer for the Academic Session of 2024-25. 7. Since petitioner already opted for a new place by giving his option, which is enclosed as Annexure 9 to the writ petition, in compliance to the direction issued by Additional Director, Secondary Education, therefore, the Additional Director, Secondary Education, Garhwal Mandal Pauri is directed to take a decision on the option submitted by the petitioner in compliance to the directions, issued by the order dated 21.06.2024, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of production of the certified copy of this order. 8. Subject to the directions, as made above, the writ petition is finally disposed of.
