Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of State- respondents. 2. By means of the present writ petition, a direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents police authority to provide the police protection to the petitioners against the respondent nos. 4 and 5 for peaceful life and liberty of the petitioners and not to interfere in their peaceful marital life, has been sought. 3. As per the instructions received by learned standing counsel, it has been apprised that in pursuance to the verification made by concerned police authorities it transpired that there is hardly any perception of threat at the behest of respondent no.4 and it is fairly submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that at the time of solemnization of marriage i.e, in the month of January, 2025 there was a little threat but now both the petitioners are living their peaceful married life. 4.
