This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "Issue a writ a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents authority to ensure the compliance of order dated 18.5.2017 passed by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Mariyahoon, District Jaunpur passed in Case no. T2017143658061442 (Ram Lakhan Vs. Gaon Sabha and others) and further direct the respondent no. 2, District magistrate Ballia to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 10.5.2025 sent through registered post dated 13.5.2025, pending before him expeditiously within stipulated period to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner order dated 18.5.2017 has been passed by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Mariyahoon, District Jaunpur in Case no. T2017143658061442 (Ram Lakhan Vs. Gaon Sabha and others) which has not been complied with. In this regard a letter dated 10.05.2025 was moved by the petitioner, which is pending consideration before respondent No.2 The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the said application. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent No.2 to take a decision on the letter of the petitoiner dated 10.05.2025, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
