The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to grant him annual increment for the years 2022-23 and 2023-24 as granted to similarly situated persons. 2. The petitioner claims that respondent has denied him benefit of increments on the ground that he had not cleared typing test. The benefit of annual increments was earlier granted, however, has been withheld for the years 2022-23 and 2023-24. The same benefit has been extended to many candidates who had not passed typing test. The petitioner has already cleared typing test, though at a later stage.
