HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:44723 WP No. 12428 of 2022
ORAL ORDER
1. The petitioner and respondent No.2-complainant had a civil dispute which resulted in O.S.No.25643/2024. In the said proceedings, the petitioner herein relied on a Will. The complainant filed the instant complaint on the ground that the said Will is forged and concocted and the present proceedings came to be initiated against the petitioner herein.
2. It is now submitted by the learned counsel for both the petitioner and respondent No.2 that the parties have settled their dispute amicably and they have entered into a compromise in O.S.No.25643/2024 and they have filed a joint memo in this regard which is dated 05.11.2025.
3. Memo is taken on record.
4. It is prayed by both the contesting parties that in the light of the compromise entered into between them, the proceedings in Crime No.192/2022 be quashed.

5. The learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for respondent No.1 has no objection for the same.
6. It is seen that the dispute has primarily arisen out of a civil dispute between the petitioner and respondent No.2. Both have compromised and both have prayed for allowing the petition and quashing the proceedings against the petitioner herein. Allowing the petition will facilitate both the petitioner and respondent No.2 to lead a harmonious life and offences alleged against the petitioner herein are not heinous in nature. Under the given facts and circumstances of the case, in my opinion, it requires that the petition be allowed.
7. Hence the following:-
ORDER i. The petition is allowed.
