In filing this Writ Petition, the Petitioner claiming himself to be the owner of the vehicle in question bearing registration No.OD-19-U-6070, has sought for a direction from this Court to the Opposite Parties for releasing the said vehicle which is alleged to have been detained due to some unauthorized activities. 3. Learned counsel for the State, at the outset, submits that in order to redress his grievance the Petitioner instead of preferring this Writ Petition should have approached the Officer-in-Charge of the Mahidharpur Police Station, Angul/ Opposite Party No.2 at the threshold of the dispute. At this juncture, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays for granting necessary permission in favour of the Petitioner to do so. 6. Considering the submissions made on behalf of both the parties and looking to the factual scenario of the case, this Court directs the Petitioner to approach the Officer-in- Charge, Mahidharpur Police Station, Angul/ Opposite Party No.2 along with all the required documents for release of the above noted vehicle within a period of fifteen working days hence. In such event, the Opposite Party No.2 shall look into the grievance of the Petitioner and release the above noted vehicle of the Petitioner as per law. 7.
