IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK W.P.(C) No.28705 of 2025 Maa Sundarsuni Matru Asthan Gajalaxmi Puja Pratishan & Another …. Petitioners Mr.Subhasis Pattanaik, Advocate Mr.B.C. Mohanty, Advocate -versus- State of Odisha & Others … Opp. Parties Mr.J.K. Ray, ASC CORAM: JUSTICE DIXIT KRISHNA SHRIPAD ORDER 10.10.2025 The short grievance of the petitioners is as to non- consideration of the representation dated 14.09.2025, a copy whereof avails at Annexure-6. A grievance is made out in the subject representation as to some internal dispute amongst the Puja Committee Members despite resolution of the earlier dispute at the hands of the District Collector. Counsel for the petitioners submits that his clients would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the opposite parties to consider the subject representation in accordance with law. Learned ASC, on request, appearing for the official opposite parties submits that there is no proof as to the Order No. 01 subject representation having been submitted and therefore, if a fresh representation is made, he would instruct the District Collector to look into the same keeping in view the parameters of law. With this proposal, counsel for the petitioner is agreeable. In the above circumstances, writ petition is disposed off reserving the liberty to the petitioners to give a fresh representation coupled with evidentiary material in support of their complaint within two weeks and if one is made, the District Collector shall take a call on the same within an outer limit of four (4) weeks after providing opportunity of personal hearing to all the stake holders. All contentions of the parties are kept open. It is open to the answering opposite party to solicit any information or document from the side of the petitioner, as required for taking a decision on the subject representation. However, in that guise, delay shall not be brooked. Now, no costs. Web copy of order to be acted upon by all concerned. (Dixit Krishna Shripad) Judge Basu Designation: ASST. REGISTRAR-CUM-SR.
