The Gata No. 351/2 was recorded in the name of the respondent No. 5. The respondent No. 5 had made a prayer before the Settlement Officer Consolidation for conversion of the aforesaid gata into a road. However, he did not pursue the matter thereafter before the consolidation authority. The petitioner does not have any right to prosecute the case on behalf of the respondent No. 5 particularly since the land is recorded in the name of the latter. The petitioner does not have any locus standi to prosecute the writ petition in regard to the holdings which were recorded in the name of respondent No. 5. The writ petition is dismissed.
