(Oral) CM-10755-CWP-2025 The prayer in the present application filed by the petitioners is for condonation of delay of 32 days in filing the application for restoration i.e. CM-10756-CWP-2025. Notice of the application to the counsel opposite. Mr. T.P.S. Chawla, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and raises no objection in case, the prayer made in the present application is allowed. Keeping in view the averments mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Consequently, the delay of 32 days in filing the application for restoration i.e. CM-10756-CWP-2025 is hereby condoned. Chawla, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and raises no objection in case, the prayer made in the present application is allowed. Keeping in view the averments made in the application, which are duly supported by an affidavit, the same is allowed. Consequently, the order dated 26.11.2024 is recalled and the writ petition is restored to its original number and status and the main writ petition is taken up for hearing today itself. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners intend to approach the respondents by way of filing representation qua the claim of appointing the petitioner on the vacant post of Patwari which remained vacant due to non-joining of the selected candidate as being raised by the petitioners in the present petition and the petitioners will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner. 2. Learned counsel for the respondents-State submits that in case, the petitioners file any such representation with the authority concerned, the same will be considered in accordance with law and an appropriate speaking KANCHAN 2025.08.02 15:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment CM-10755-CWP-2025 and CM-10756-CWP-2025 in/and CWP No. 26609-2017 (O&M) 3 order will be passed by the authority concerned within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such representation. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case, the claim of the petitioners is found feasible to be accepted, an appropriate order will be passed and in case the same is not feasible to be accepted, detailed reasons for rejecting the same will be mentioned in the speaking order the said order will be conveyed to the petitioners for their information and necessary action. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation with respondents as stated herein before. 5.
