Learned Additional Government Advocate raises an objection that the land in question is admittedly within the jurisdiction of the Bruhath Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike. Moreover, in terms of the provisions contained in - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33563 WP No. 2571 of 2024 Rule 10(1)(i) of the Karnataka Land Grant Rules, 1969, such lands which are within the municipal limits of City of Bangalore and within a radius of sixteen kilometers from the municipal limits of the City of Bangalore cannot be granted. 3. Having regard to the express provisions, when it is clear that the land in question cannot be granted to the petitioner no useful purpose will be served while directing the Deputy Commissioner or the competent authority to consider the application of the petitioner. 4.
