RPs COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION BEFORE NATIONAL LOK ADALAT, THE FOLLOWING CONCIALIATION ORDER IS PASSED: CONCILIATION ORDER In this petition, the common petitioner has prayed for quashing the Judgments dated 17.06.2023 in Criminal Appeal No.195/2022 and Criminal Appeal No.196/2022 passed by the II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chikkamagaluru as also the Judgments dated 11.10.2022 in CC No.236/2019 and CC No.2274/2019 on the file of the II Additional Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Chikkamgaluru. 2. After negotiations, the common complainant and the accused in these revision petitions have filed a Joint Memo duly signed before the Lok Adalath. The said Joint Memo reads as follows: "The CRL. RP NO. 140/2024 C/W CRL. RP NO. 131/2024 filed against the order in CC.No. 5 2274/2019 & CC No. 236/2019 respectively dated 04.02.2022 on the file of the II ADDL. Sr. Civil Judge & JMFC., Chikkamagaluru dated 11.10.2022 have been settled between the parties on the following terms and the same may kindly be modified as under: [1] The petitioner will pay a sum of Rs.20,000/- in each case towards the cheque amount and the cost of litigation [Rs.10,000/-]. [2] The total amount payable in terms of this settlement by the petitioner to the respondent will be in a sum of Rs.50,000/- and that this amount will be paid on or before 13.10.2025. [3] The common petitioner will be at liberty to withdraw any amount that is deposited with the court below excluding the fine that is paid. Hence the parties have compromised in terms of the above. The parties to this petition have set their hands to this settlement before the Lok Adalat in the presence of Conciliators on this 13.09.2025 at Bengaluru Bench." 3. Accordingly, the Revision Petitions are disposed of in terms of the Joint Memo modifying the Judgments dated 17.06.2023 in Criminal Appeal 6 No.195/2022 and Criminal Appeal No.196/2022 passed by the II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chikkamagaluru as also the Judgments dated 11.10.2022 in CC No.236/2019 and CC No.2274/2019 on the file of the II Additional Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Chikkamgaluru.
