Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for respondents 2 and 3, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint of the District Handicapped Welfare Officer, three cases have been registered against the petitioner herein and others in Crime Nos.2, 3 and 5 of 2023 on the file of the second respondent-Police and thereby, the petitioner's account bearing Account No.0512053000001744 maintained with the first respondent Bank was freezed. Now, the respondent-Police have completed with investigation and filed the charge sheet before the jurisdictional Court and also instructions have been given to the first 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
W.P.Crl.No.219 of 2025 respondent – Bank for de-freezing the account of the petitioner herein. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the present petition.
