The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following relief(s):- 10.1 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to set aside and quash the impugned order dated 22.01.2022 issued by the Joint Director, Education Division- Durg (C.G.). 10.2 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authority to qualify the petitioner for the post of Digitally signed by RAMESH KUMAR VATTI Date: 2025.07.17 12:25:34 +0530 2 Teacher (Biology) and issue an appointment order to the petitioner. 10.3 Grant any other writ(s), order(s), relief(s) in favour of the petitioner, which the Hon’ble Court deemed fit & just in the facts and circumstances of the case, including awarding of the costs to the petitioner. 2. Mr. Shubham Bajpai, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 4 would submit that the petitioner applied for the post of Teacher (E) Biology subject and required qualification was Graduation in Biology subject. He would submit that the petitioner was having qualification of B. Pharma and the said certificate was placed before the Selection Committee but the candidature of the petitioner was rejected. He would contend that as the petitioner was not having requisite qualification, therefore, his candidature was rightly rejected. He would contend that the petition deserves to be dismissed. 3. Mr. Lav Sharma, learned Panel Lawyer appearing for the State/respondents No. 1 to 3 & 5 would support the submission made by Mr. Shubham Bajpai. 4. I have heard Mr. Shubham Bajpai, learned counsel for respondent No. 4 and Mr. Lav Sharma, learned Panel Lawyer for the State. 5. Taking into consideration the fact that the required eligibility criteria for the post of Teacher (E) was Graduation in Biology subject, whereas the petitioner was having qualification of B.Pharma, therefore, his candidature was rejected.
