ORAL ORDER Learned Addl. Government Advocate accepts notice for respondent Nos.1 to 3.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Addl. Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 to 3.
3. The petitioners have approached this Court seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent-authorities to consider their representation dated 10.09.2024 (Annexure-A), wherein the petitioners have requested for disbursement of compensation relating to the land acquired for road widening pursuant to the preliminary notification dated 05.03.2014 and the final notification dated 11.07.2014.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though an extent of 864 square feet of land belonging to the petitioners has been acquired and compensation has

been assessed, the amount has not been released despite repeated requests.
5. Learned Addl. Government Advocate submits that the petitioners' representation dated 10.09.2024 will be considered in accordance with law.
6. The said submission is taken on record.
7. In view of the submission made, the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed, if necessary direction is issued to the respondent-authorities to consider the same and accordingly, this Court pass the following:
ORDER i) The writ petition is disposed of. ii) Respondent No.1 is directed to consider the petitioners' representation dated 10.09.2024 (Annexure-A) and pass appropriate orders for disbursement of compensation in accordance with law within

a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
