ORDER:-
Heard Sri Kambhampati Ramesh Babu, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader attached to the office of Additional Advocate General.
2. Challenging the Preliminary Notification issued by the 2nd respondent dated 25.01.2020, the present writ petition is filed.
3. It is contended by the petitioners that they are the absolute owners of agricultural lands i.e., Ac.0.74 cents in Sy.No.211/4, Ac.0.50 cents in Sy.No.214/1, Ac.0.24 cents in Sy.No.214/1, Ac.0.23 cents in Sy.No.214/1A, Ac.1.00 cents in Sy.No.214/4 and Ac.1.06 cents in Sy.No.214/3 respectively of

Arumbaka Village, Cherukupalli Mandal, Guntur District. The subject lands are proposed for acquisition, in order to distribute the same in favour of the beneficiaries of the scheme viz., Navaratnalu – Pedalandariki Illu.
4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue placed before the Court, copy of the instructions received by him in the case. Perusal of the said instructions, reflected that the proposal for acquisition of the said lands have been dropped and the alternate land was acquired to provide the house sites to the beneficiaries of the scheme and the subject lands have not been acquired by the Government. The said instructions of the 4th respondent/Tahsildar are placed on record.
5. In view of the foregoing, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
