(2) Petitioners have challenged an arbitral award, passed by the arbitrator under Section 3G(5) of National Highways Act, in an application under Section 34 of Arbitration and Conciliation Act. Petitioners’ application is numbered as Misc. Case No. 19 of 2013 and is pending before District Judge, Haridwar. Petitioners have sought direction to the District Judge, Haridwar to expedite hearing of the said case. (3) Since nearly 12 years have gone by after filing of the aforesaid application, therefore, writ petition is disposed of with a request to learned District Judge to hear and decide it within two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
