Learned advocate for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has submitted an application to the Ministry of External Affairs seeking Police Clearance Certificate. However, till date, the said application has not been processed and no such certificate has been issued to the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner desirous to travel to US and in the R/SCR.A/11073/2025 ORDER DATED: 05/12/2025 process of obtaining visa in favour of the petitioner, the police clearance certificate is necessary. In view of the above, the concerned authorities shall decide the application of the petitioner seeking police clearance certificate as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
