Impugned in this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is the order dated 16th September, 2025 passed by the respondent No. 3 whereby the bank account of the petitioner has been attached for a period of one year w.e.f. 28th August, 2025. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner is free to cooperate with the respondents undertaking the proceedings and put forth his stand viz.a.viz the amount stashed in his account. He submits that several notices have been issued to the petitioner to come forward with the documentary or other evidence to substantiate his claim. 3. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and regard being had to the nature of the controversy involved, we propose to dispose of the petition giving opportunity to the petitioner to approach the respondents with his written defense as well as the documentary evidence in possession against the impugned order dated 16th September, 2025. Ordered accordingly 4. Needless to say that in case the petitioner approaches the respondents with requisite information/documentary evidence within a period of four weeks, the respondents shall consider the explanation/defense of the petitioner and the information/documentary evidence produced by him and pass appropriate speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of all the information. The petitioner, if he so chooses, shall be entitled to personal hearing also. 5. Needless to say that in case an order averse to the interest of the petitioner is passed, he shall be at liberty to approach the court again. 6. Disposed of.
