Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, places reliance on an order dated 25th March, 2025, passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in WP (C) No. 657/2025 titled “Sheikh Zamin Vs. Union of India & Ors.” and submits that the case set up by the petitioner in this petition is identical to the case of the petitioner in the aforesaid petition. He, therefore, prays for showing similar indulgence in the matter. 2. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and perused material on record, we are of the considered opinion that the appeal claimed to have been filed by the petitioner against the proceedings taken by the respondents culminating into issuance of an order of assessment dated 9th March, 2024, a year back, needs to be taken up for consideration and disposal by the Appellate Authority without any further waste of time. We, therefore, dispose of this petition with a direction to the Appellate Authority to take up and dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner with reasonable dispatch.
