When the matter was listed on 23.03.2021, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner had expired and accordingly, this Court granted time to file substitution petition. Thereafter, though the matter was listed again on 09.11.2021, no such substitution petition was filed. 2. Mr. K.D. Sarma, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though a letter was sent by Mr.A.K.Borah, learned Advocate to the son of the deceased petitioner through registered post with A/D intimating him for requirement of filing of substitution petition, however, till date, he has not received any instruction in this regard. 3. In view of the aforesaid, this Court is left with no option to close the present writ petition for want of substitution, accordingly, the present writ petition stands closed. 4. It is needless to say that the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner shall be at Page No.# 3/3 liberty to file necessary application, if so desires for restoration of this petition and substitution. 5.
