A Status Report has been filed, dated 19th March 2024, which is not on record of this Court. A copy of the same has been handed up by counsel for petitioner. 3. Status Report notes that demolitions were scheduled on various dates in February and March 2024, but were only partially successful, in view of the resistance by persons who are occupying those properties. The presence of DDA/STF is necessary for making the demolitions successful. 4. It is further stated that post urbanization of the village in 2019 the Revenue Department has no authority to carry out the demolition. It is further stated that in view of claim of ownership of the land by the local people, it would be useful to first get clarification from the DDA & BDO regarding the land status, by way of joint demarcation. 5.
