Petitioner seeks higher stage of pay, i.e. Rs.41,600/-, on completion of two years of regular service in accordance with notification dated 06.09.2022.

Petitioner was appointed as TGT (Arts) on contract basis in the respondent-department on 18.9.2020 (Annexure P-1). His services were regularized on 13.12.2022 (Annexure P-2). On being appointed on regular basis on 13.12.2022, petitioner was placed in the pay-scale of Rs.38,100/-. Petitioner’s claim for Rs.41,600/- on
2 completion of two years of regular service on the strength of notification dated 06.09.2022, amending Revised Pay Rules 2022, is covered under the decision rendered in CWP No. 1638 of 2024 titled as Mohit Sharma & Anr. Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors. Since, the present petition is covered in view of law laid down in the said case, therefore, there is no necessity for calling the reply.

This writ petition is accordingly allowed. Respondents are directed to release the higher stage of pay of Rs.41,600/- to the petitioner w.e.f. his completing two years of regular service as DM. This to be done within four weeks from today. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, to also stand disposed of.
