Heard Mr. A.M.Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. U. Sharma, learned Government Counsel appearing for all the respondents. 2. Having regard to the projection made by the petitioner, the case is taken up for disposal at this stage. It is the case of the petitioner that she has been working as Anganwadi Helper in 163 No.Bagodi Anganwadi Centre under Barpeta ICDS Project, since 1997 and has been discharging her duties to the best of her ability. Lately, a vacancy has arisen to the post of Anganwadi worker in the said Anganwadi centre and for which advertisement was made by the Child Development Project Officer, Barpeta on 26.11.2024. However, one of the condition was that the applicant should not be above 45 years of age as on 01.01.2024. The petitioner having already cross that age bar submitted a representation before the Director of Women and Child Development, Government of Assam on 11.02.2025 for seeking relaxation of her age so as to enable her to participate in the selection process for the post of Anganwadi Worker in the said Anganwadi centre. However, the petitioner has not enclosed a copy of said representation in the instant writ petition. Be that as it may, this Court is of the considered view that the instant writ petition should not be kept Page No.# 3/3 pending. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation before the Director, Women and Child Development, Government of Assam within a period of 10(ten) days from today. In the event of filing such representation, the said authority shall consider and disposed of the same by way of a speaking order within a period of 03(three) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the representation. 4.
