It is seen that the petitioner made request to conduct Oorani Pongal festival on 17.07.2024 and the same was rejected by the third respondent on the ground of law and order problem. Now the time has been lapsed and the prayer sought for in this petition has become infractuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to seek police protection in future, in accordance with law, on fresh cause of action. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
