NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to consider the representations dated 08.04.2024 and 14.11.2024 vide Annexures A and J, respectively, seeking for compassionate appointment. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:31620 WP No. 4244 of 2025 2. The petitioner claims to be the legally wedded wife of the deceased Raghavendra Madivala Nayak, who was working as a lineman in the respondent – Corporation. He died on 25.07.2023, while in service. The petitioner filed applications for compassionate appointment vide Annexures A and J. Since the respondents have not considered the same, the petitioner is before this Court. 3. The learned counsel for respondent Nos. 1 to 4 submits that, if this Court grants some reasonable time, the representations of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above, the following order is passed: (i) The writ petition stands disposed of. (ii) If the respondent No.5 – mother of the deceased has any objection, she is permitted to file the objection before the competent - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:31620 WP No. 4244 of 2025 authority, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (iii) The respondents are directed to consider the representations vide Annexures A and J and also objections, if any, of the fifth respondent and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
