By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution petitioners have prayed for following reliefs: " i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to fix the basic pay of the petitioners at Ra. 50,500/- at par with their batchmates of the First Batch appointed in the year 1995, and to pay the consequential arrears along with interest. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and decide the representations submitted by the petitioers for redressal of their pay related grievances, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. iii. Award interest at the rate of 12% per annum on the arrears payable to the petitioners, from the due date till the actual date of payment" 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioners may be directed to make fresh and individual representation before the respondent No. 3 who may be directed to dispose of the same in accordance with law. 4. In the given facts and circumstances this petition stands disposed of with direction to the petitioners to move fresh and individual representation to the respondent No. 3 within a period of four weeks from today and in the event any such representation is made the respondent No. 3 is directed to consider and dispose of the same strictly in accordance with law within a further period of two months by means of a reasoned and speaking order.
