By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities particularly respondent No. 5 i.e. Divisional Forest Officer, Bilaspur for payment of bill raised by the petitioner towards the supply of water bottles, water tanker, installation of sound system and generator facility during the direct recruitment of forest guards under Bilaspur Circle’s Mungeli 3 Forest Division and Achankamar Tiger Reserve, Lormi. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the direction and instruction of authorities of forest Department, the petitioner supplied water bottles, water tanker, installed sound system and generator for a period of 11 days from 25.05.2023 to 06.06.2023 for the recruitment of forest guards under Bilaspur Circle’s Mungeli Forest Division and Achankamar Tiger Reserve, Lormi. He further submits that the bill raised by the petitioner for above services were verified by the authorities of forest department which has been annexed as Annexure P-2. He submits that after the verification of bills also, the respondent authorities are not releasing the total bill amount raised by the petitioner towards the said supplies. 3. Learned State counsel submits that if the bill submitted by the petitioner is still pending, the DFO, Bilaspur will examine and verify the claim of the petitioner and if the bill raised by the petitioner is not disputed then the undisputed amount will be released within a period of two months from today. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents annexed. 5. Perusal of Annexure P-2, shows that the petitioner supplied water bottles, water tanks, generator and sound system at the time of recruitment process of forest guard and the bills submitted by the petitioner have been verified by the forest authorities. Considering 4 the same, it is directed that the Divisional Forest Officer, Bilaspur shall verify and examine the claim raised by the petitioner and the undisputed amount be released within a period of 2 months from today. It is further directed to the petitioner to appraised the Divisional Forest Officer about the order of this Court. 6. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed off.
