In this writ petition, the petitioners has sought for the following releifs: a) Issue writ of mandamus directing the Respondents herein to consider the representation dated 25.09.2024 given by the Petitioners herein as per Annexure -F and pass suitable Orders in accordance with law. b) Issue any other Writ or order or direction as deemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity. 2. The case of the petitioners is that the husband of petitioner No.1 was appointed as Pourakarmika in BBMP and he died on 21.12.2023 while he was in service. Thereafter, the petitioners submitted a representation dated 25.09.2024 vide Annexure-F seeking for payment of gratuity, settlement amount and family pension. Since the respondents have not taken any action on the representation, the petitioners are before this Court. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:29644 WP No. 10049 of 2025 3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents- BBMP submits that if this Court grants some reasonable time, the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of. 5. Respondents are directed to consider the representation dated 25.09.2024 submitted by the petitioners vide Annexure-F, in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
