The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Keredari P.S. Case No. 04 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 17(b)/18(b)/22(b)/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of Sri Ranjeet Kumar, learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Hazaribagh. On 06.01.2025, Keredari Police apprehended co-accused Baijnath Mahto and seized 700 grams of opium from his possession. It was submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of co-accused Baijnath Mahto. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the aforesaid fact. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Ranjeet Kumar, learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Hazaribagh, in connection with Keredari P.S. Case No. 04 of 2025. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
